There is a long story behind this cake, you see, Makenzie's birthday wasn't until Wednesday, she went to school Monday and Tuesday and invited all of her friends to her birthday party (we didn't know anything about a party). I showed up Thursday to drop her off, being made aware by mother's how their children told them they were going to Makenzie's birthday party. Needless to say after about 3 minutes of discussion with Bill, I (well Makenzie) threw together a birthday party for her and her friends from school. There was about 13 kids who showed up, so I guess for planning her own party, she did pretty well. As a matter of fact, she didn't only invite her pre-school class, she invited the other pre-school class as well. All went well and the party turned out great. We did it at an ice cream shop and the kids were able to make their own sundays. So this is the cake I made, thank you Betty Crocker!

Cake #1!
So we asked Makenzie what kind of cake she wanted this year and usually we get a response of some character themed cake, instead she said she wanted an ice cream cake, so here is her Strawberry Shortcake ice cream cake! MMM it was so good too!
