moving....

Well, we packed today and loaded up a UHAUL to move to our new appartment...we don't have too much to move and were able to make it all in one trip. It only took us about 5 hours to do most of our belongings. We still have our room and the computer room to pack and move then we are all set. We will probably do that tomorrow and spend the night in the new place tomorrow night. Makenzie and I have alot of fun with the video option on our new camera, we still need to get a memory card for it, but we took the time out today to do some recording. This is her singing a song that they sing at the end of gymnastics on Sunday's. We call it "peanuts"

Kaiden's 6 week birthday!

Kaiden had his 6 week check-up at he doctor's on the 4th of February and weighed 8 pounds 15 ounces and was 22 1/2 inches long. I am no longer breast feeding due to several reasons, and we hope that he will start packing on the pounds soon. His two month check-up is on March 10th so we will see what he weighs then...
Makenzie is doing well she had a check-up on February 11th and she weighs 25 pounds and is 36 inches tall. She has 13% body fat. ha ha. We signed her up for her second season of gymnastics and that started on the 28th of January. She goes Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:30, and she loves it. She is talking so much more now, she always says "hi mommy, nice a meetcha" that makes me laugh the most. She also asks people all the time " what are you doin?" and "what's YOUR favorite color?" We were at Dad's house a few weekends ago and Makenzie noticed a plastic piece from a side table was coming off so she asked "pop pop what happened?" he said "ugh...who did that" Makenzie could not be quicker with her response of " Auntie Miche did" we all had a nice laugh on that one.
Well, we haven't found out much from the insurance company about the house that had the fire, they still have not started rebuilding it or touched it since the night of the fire when they closed it up. For those of you that did not know since the fire we have been staying in this HUGE house that is so beautiful. It has 4 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. The Red Cross helped us find it. I really would love to buy it. The setup is wonderful, its perfect and there are enough rooms for all of us, but unfortunately...it is not for sale and is going to be turned into offices. We can't stay here forever and we have to be out by the last day in February, so we have found ourselves a very nice remodled appartment, and are packing up to move into there by the middle of this coming week. I'm not looking forward to the move, because it is alot smaller than what we are in now, but Bill and I are house hunting and hoping to find something we can settle down in for a while. Until then we are going month to month in the apartment.
