Friday, April 8, 2011 was the most tragic day of our lives, we lost Bill's oldest son, Nick. He was only 18 years old, and too young to go. He left behind 5 younger siblings that miss him dearly, of which two of them are Makenzie and Kaiden. Although they don't really understand what happened, we always talk about the great times we had with him. Please pray for our family as we continue to try to get through this horrible time.

Love you so much Nick, and miss you like crazy!

This picture brings a smile to my face everytime I see it. It had been a long time of Bill and I trying to get Nick and Billy to cut their hair, and get rid of the long skater look, Nick finally gave in, but only half way...he wasn't ready for it all to go. So we took him to my hairdresser, and walked out with a Mohawk! It was the coolest Mohawk ever, and took so many cans of glue to keep it up and perfect!

Bill and I decided to go out one night and weren't too sure about leaving the younger 4 kids under the supervision of just Nick and Billy, even though they had been 17 and 16 at the time, so we called over our niece Heather, who was also 17 at the time to join in on the childcare party. Heather could always get Nick to do things that were totally not happening for anyone else .....and needless to say, this is what we came home to find!! Thank goodness for Makenzie's butterfly wings, because it sure does make for a funny photo.
